Stormwater Compliance Technical Support, US Army Reserve, 99th Readiness Division – USACE Mobile District
KGS provided stormwater program support to the 99th DIV(R) at 14 U.S. Army Reserve Centers (USARC) across New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. We conducted a combination of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual stormwater sampling at each facility depending on state NPDES requirements and submitted Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR) detailing lab analyses and site conditions. KGS developed stormwater pollution prevention plans for two PA Army Reserve Centers. We also conducted a stormwater drainage survey at the Wheeling, WV facility to determine the source of erosion problems experienced on a privately-owned lot adjacent to the USARC facility. The study included updated maps of stormwater and sanitary sewer systems, outfalls, connections, and structures along with recommendations and budgetary cost estimates to address deficiencies and maintenance findings of the assessed systems.
